A bit late but here is a quick pick of a few of my favourite looks from the KLuK CGDT show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa last week. Inspired by the movie 'White Mischief' and the South China islands. Malcolm and Christiaan hosted a 'fashion happening' which was extremely well received. I loved the shades from Sunglass Hut and the beautiful pastel platform heels from Nine West. I also modelled in the show for the boys (seen in the first picture centre) and the following evening we attended the fashion awards. It was a phenomenal event to end the year off with a bang as our last show of the year, and what a busy year it has been. TGIF! x o x o K

I love to see, when leaves depart, The clear anatomy arrive, Winter, the paragon of art, That kills all forms of life and feeling Save what is pure and will survive.

Already now the clanging chains Of geese are harnessed to the moon:
Stripped are the great sun-clouding planes: And the dark pines, their own revealing, Let in the needles of the noon.

Strained by the gale the olives whiten Like hoary wrestlers bent with toil
And, with the vines, their branches lighten To brim our vats where summer lingers In the red froth and sun-gold oil.

Soon on our hearth's reviving pyre Their rotted stems will crumble up:

A couple of my friends and I teamed up this weekend to update my book.

A lot of fun was had and we were really happy with the results!

awesome menswear - uber stylish boys!

I have had an extremely busy past couple of days starting on Saturday with the Men's Day held at BMW SMG. It was the launch of the fabulous Danielle Margaux's collection and it was quite a hit. Beautiful shades of grey mixed with whites and lots of this season's favourite - stripes! The mens wear was especially fabulous considering it was her first mens wear collection and the boys looked great in their attire. Well done Dani! On Sunday I woke up to really miserable weather which got me in a bit of a panic as I was shooting but after a slow start we shot for most of the day and came out with some awesome pictures! I'll be posting those soon! My work week only started today (lucky me) because I was involved in the campaign shoot for MK Awards.. I couldn't post any pics which is probably a good thing considering I was wearing a full uni-tard of luminous pink Lycra - not my proudest moment! So we'll just have to wait and see how those come out! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! K

lets get lost

One of my favourite sources for inspiration is Fashion Gone Rogue, I cannot explain the happiness it brings me when I browse through the endless editorials and shoots up on FGR. I came across this story shot for Superette magazine by photographer Oliva Hemus of models Lauren Nuttel and Vinnie Woloston. It is so natural and real and every photo makes you feel like you've walked into this beautiful scene, just delightful.

I'm going to be shooting the very talented Taniel Telo soon, we are working on a little project, which she aptly named 'the maw i want' - love it! So look out for those pics soon! Much love, K
