Sisley

This isn't usually one of the topics I write about but because I enjoyed the result so much I thought I'd share. Yesterday I was invited to visit the Sisley stand at Edgars in the V&A Waterfront for a demonstration of some of their new products. The whole experience was really enjoyable and I found a few new products that I can't believe I have lived without for, well forever!

The first is the Creamy Mask with Tropical Resins - it was suggested that I use this on blemishes only and sleep with a little on affected areas for three nights in a row. After just one night I can see a huge difference, a definite 'lifesaver' right at my finger tips how can I say no?

The Lotion with Tropical Resins Toner is highly recommended for oily skin but for mine they used the deliciously fragrant Grapefruit Toning Lotion which left my skin tingling and fresh, I love grapefruit so won't think twice about this one!

The most effective product was most definitely the Eye and Lip Contour Balm which contains Witch Hazel and Climbing Ivy both of which have decongesting properties i.e. those dark circles and puffy eyes are gone in a flash - winning!

Sisley products are made in France using Phytocosmetology with fresh botanicals and plant extracts, each product smells absolutely delicious. They have the full range available at Edgars, and after the skincare treatment we had a bit of fun with their make up products, but, being the MAC freak I am, I'm not quite ready for that transition yet.
Happy weekend lovelies x x x K

swept away

So it's been awhile (again) work and class seem to get the better of me (every time) but soon I will have my Saturdays back again so that I can get back to shooting etc etc. Since my last shoot and those delicious ice cream pastels (plus one or two other influences - like Chris Viljoen's 'roomys fabriek' Pinterst board here), I have become mildly obsessed with all things that involve candy floss colours (add to that my increased desire for pink locks). So of course I just had to share this beautiful editorial from Vogue Japan by fashion ed Giovanna Battaglia lensed by Josh Olins featuring a perfect duo of Jourdan Dunn & Daria Strokus. I LOVE the styling pairing the two together, but most of all I love the first outfit featured above, I don't even know where to start so we'll leave it at that. Last of all I'm left feeling very inspired with the moodiness of these images so refreshing compared to the usual tropical island cliche'.
That's enough rambling from me for now, I will be sharing (exclusively) the latest work by my extremely talented 'MAW' friend as well as a project we worked on together a couple weeks ago and last but not least I will be launching 'the maw I want' jewelry collection end next week so stay posted. x o x o Klaudia

I haven't posted some of my own work for awhile, work has been incredibly busy leaving little time for play, but here are some shots from a test that I did a few weeks back with the beautiful Tania Bester from Faith Models. Make Up & Hair by Sam Wickham. Photos by Me (Klaudia D.) x x

p.s.: I did a fun collaboration with the amazing Betina du Toit which we will be sharing at the end of this week, so stay posted x x x
